This game was a joy to create, as it drew on and combined a wide variety of skill-sets. I particularly enjoyed encorporating music into the project that was created both by myself and other artists I'm close with.
The concept is that the player takes control of a persona, a gentle breeze which has just become self-aware. The breeze explores our planet and learns about it's place in the world and many of the ways it's interconnected with other earthly systems. It's guided by player choices, which impact a wind meter that grows or diminishes in power based on those decisions.
The goal is to reach the final destination, but the player choices need to be such that they maintain the wind's power in order for that to be possible. As the wind evolves, the hope is that the player is impacted by the journey as well, as it's been written to subtly reflect the human experience and mirror the many ways in which we are still learning, growing, and finding our own ways to integrate with the planet.
Finally, this game gave me a great opportunity to work closely with AI art generators and vastly improve my ability to generate art series that retain a running style and theme using seeds and specific instructions. I generated over one thousand images as a part of the process, which has allowed me a much more robust perspective into how generators process requests and how to better communicate with them.
